NBI 2014 has already started off with a bang. Not only has the Havoc in Hearthstone tournament been running for the past week, people have also been pledging their allegiance with NBI support posts. The Indie Game Gala starts tomorrow, and the following weekend is the League of Legends night that I’m hosting. But today, something new kicked off. What might that be?

This year’s theme is “Magic.” I haven’t had time to properly crank out some poetry, but I did have some lyrics I wrote for a band I was in a few years back. Magic isn’t strictly in play here, although I think Lycanthropy and Vampirism still have a magic sense about them. With that said, I’m going to post these two bits of lyrics today, and will attempt to write something more specificially about magic at a later date. The Poetry Slam last until May 30th, so get on yours if you haven’t already!
